On Thursday Paul and I saw an owl in our yard. It was about dusk and I saw some movement outside the bathroom window, and when I looked outside an owl was jumping/flying off the picnic table. He sat on the ground and looked and me, and when I called to Paul to come look, he told me I had to be wrong and there could not possibly be an owl. He was pretty surprised when he looked outside :)
We tried to get a photo for the blog, but the owl flew on top of the shed and then flew away, so we weren't able to photograph it. Sorry!
In other news...Paul participates in a game on SpeedChannel.com where he and about 2ooo some odd people try to guess who will win all of the races in a given week. This month, he was the number 2 person, and Dave Despain on the Windtunnel show announced and showed his user name on tv!!! It got even funnier, because Paul competes under the name Ferrarikiller, and right after announcing his name, Dave talked about next months prizes for the number 1 person....a model ferrari car :) Paul was a little sad, because only the number one person gets a prize, but he was only 7 points below the winner, and that was only because Kyle Busch was hit in the Nascar race by his teammate, so he didn't win. Poor Kyle :(

Buzzie Reutimann. The coupe is at Fonda, not sure about the '57 Chevy. Not sure about the "sixty-one" car. Looks like an early CD Coville car?
Happy birthday Noah!

Paul Tracy will drive for the injured Vitor Meira in the 14 AJ Foyt car at Milwaukee. Alex Tagliani is the Indy 500 rookie of the year. Bizarro World

Sunday we had a badmitton tournament. I cut up most of the maple tree. Also made two racks of ribs on the big cooker. Cooked them plain until about the last 45 minutes then brushed them twice with the last of the Bubba's I had. Came out very good. Oliver ate a lot. Watched some of the Indy 500 and some of the Monaco GP.
Monday was tent day. We set up some tents in preperation of relay. We bought the blue one at Dick's. It was a Coleman 6 person for $79.99 and seems easy to put up. Not super durable, but it will work for our purpose. The old yellow one from Lake Luzerne is still horrible to put up. Where is the red dome tent from? Has numerous holes from mice. Had Ted's for lunch and steaks for dinner Oliver again ate a lot.

I took the work bench out of the red squirrel animal sanctuary today. I 'm going to use it to build a couple planters.
A few inches of nuts on the floor of the shed.

Some prizes that were on the bench and the picnic table I built a few weeks ago.

A wrench.

If anybody wants a birthday gift idea. 1 gallon of Smokey's or Bubba's BBQ sauce would be a good one.

We had an exciting weekend last weekend. T-Ball, dance, flea market, house guests, cameron's first communion, and the circus was in town.

Anyone looking to get into the ALMS for this weekend has a couple of options. The ex-Falken Tire Ford GT is in the back of Autoweek for $750,000. Or this GT1 Aston Martin being offered by Hunting Ridge Motors of Bedford, NY. Says it has been improted from Brazil? $799,000.
