One last photo from our trip to Washington that I forgot to include earlier! At Rebecca's place in Friday Harbor Philip and I slept in a tent-yurt (part tent, part yurt) made by one of Rebecca's former housemates. The landlord built the platform for the tent, but the housemate sewed the tent herself! As you might expect, the fabric is heavy canvas and there is a second "roof" to protect the tent from rain. This tent certainly looks professionally made and even has a screen door in addition to the fabric door (with plastic windows). We were very impressed with the accommodations and were very cozy in the tent-yurt.
