The Super Steel Turboliners will be up for auction on December 11 (parts), and December 13 (trains) in Rotterdam and online!  NYS Store  No details on whether the trains have their turbines in them.  New traction motors are available in the parts auction.  I propose Dad start the fastest scenic railway in the Adirondacks.

 On Saturday we went up near Chester and cut a nice white fir Christmas tree. Our first real Christmas tree! I thought it would be a struggle to get the tree down but it took Philip about 2 seconds to cut the tree with his bow saw. I didn't even have time to take a good photo. But the tree is lovely.

 We decorated with lights and ornaments....

...and of course Philip set up the train track around the tree for the logging train. We are ready for Christmas now!
