Yankees Stadium

We took our first trip to the "new" Yankee Stadium on Sunday 5/28. The stadium was very nice. We saw the Oakland A's play the Yankees. The Yankees won the game. Current hero Aaron Judge hit his first career grand slam. It was an exciting game overall. We went as a group with the Niskayuna little league. Elliot got to do a walking lap around the field before the game.

NY Times on increase in barge traffic upstate

Some eye-roll-inducing coverage of whether businesses receiving state subsidies should be allowed to purchase imported capital stock, too.

Mother's Day Hike

On Mother's day we went on a hike up Hadley Hill to the fire tower. It was very overcast and there wasn't much view.

Baseball Season

Elliot has started little league for the first time. He started in a AA level team with kids and coaches pitching. He is on the Brewers (brew crew). He is having a lot of fun playing and doing very well. He has pitched in 2 games and will be pitching in more games. He is one of the top pitchers on his team. I only have one picture right now.

Mountain Bike Season

Cameron and Oliver are in the middle of another season of mountain bike racing. Both have been doing very well. Cameron has two 2nd place finishes in two races. One of the races was on Long Island which made the trip an adventure.

Alfa Romeo Guilia

I drove this Alfa Romeo Guilia last week at the Saratoga Auto Museum. It was a "sport" model with 19" wheels. 280hp turbo 4cyl. engine. 8 speed auto. trans.. I was very un-impressed by this car. It did nothing special. The info-taiment system was beyond terrible. Better off with a Honda Accord or Lexus IS350. I did get a free hat.
