We got some bikes form the Niskayuna Police bike auction. Cameron had corn on the cob for the first time since her braces came off.

Niska-Day Parade

Kate, Cameron and Oliver walked in the Niska-Day parade this year. Birchwood school had a float. Elliot, Kate's Mom I

and watched from Grand Blvd.

This weekend, before getting the flu, farmer Phil built a raised bed in our back yard with concrete blocks, chicken wire, and soil. We planted tomatoes, bell peppers, a habanero chile. We also planted many herbs, IN the concrete blocks!

The chickens aren't quite sure what to think of the raised bed (surprise), but we did learn that they REALLY like watermelon rinds.
