We arrived back this afternoon from Christine's brother Dan's wedding in Charlotte. NC.

Both kids had a great time. Jonathan was very serious. Megan loved being the center of attention. Megan and Joanthan even rode in the wedding party's limo without thier parents. We are glad to be back. Its was 90 and humid in Charlotte. The flights were fine. It was Megan first air plane trip.

We will be having cake and other festivities for Oliver this saturday Oct. 1 at noon time. I have to work at 3:30 saturday so the action starts early. Cameron has dance class in the early morning. There may be a stop at the church flea market as well. Kate and the kids and I all went to her cousins new apartment this weekend on Long Beach on long island. She has an oceanfront place that is really cool.
More proof of Nascar not being as good anymore Daytona prototype vs. woodchuck more dramatic than Dale Earnhardt stock car vs. seagull. We need to see some footage of World Rally Car vs. deer. I'm sure there is some out there.
Evolution has 1500 miles on it oil was changed with 10w-30 Mobil 1 at 1100 miles. I finally used some of the christmas present Paul got me.
The weather here today is mild high 60's and raining nearly all day.

There is a picture of one of the prototype burner racks I designed for work. I'll be at camp on Columbus Day weekend. When is Oliver's birthday being observed??? I may go to that. This past Saturday I worked, and Sunday I watched F1, Champ Car, and IRL at Cyndy's parent's house, and there was a bunch of excitement there over the weekend, but I slept through most of it. I also have a hermit crab living in my room now, it's hard to tell if it's dead or not. I think we should have put 5 or 6 little cabins like Phil's at camp, instead of the tower of cedar that's there now.

Good Enough, Piece Cake, Talk Later, Bye,

I love this blog- it makes me smile everytime I look at it. It makes a connection between you. We are up at camp.

The tv situation is dire- the picture goes from black and white to color and is fuzzy all the time and the sound jumps from quiet to loud, randomly. At home, the tv has to be hit much more often and harder than ever before. But, in brighter news- tonight is the season premiere of Desperate Housewives.

Yesterday we went to the annual season ending clam steam at the Rapshaw Club. It was in 2 stages and encompassed lunch and dinner. Of 50 people, close to half were locals.

Going to paint the basement floor! Mom

I led a couple ranger programs in the park. Here I'm explaining geology of the Tetons in my brown uniform.--Philip

Here is a picture of my cabin in Kelly: one room with a loft, electric heat and no water. The Tetons are in the back.--Philip
Cameron started nursery school this week. She really likes it. She feels like a big girl doing something without her parents there. She is playing with many of the same toys that all of her uncles played with. I was surprised how many of them have lasted 30 years. I think the guinea pigs have been replaced though. Her teachers are Mrs. Goddard, and Mrs. Rogone.

Megan at the Portland 'Jetport' on Sunday. She sat in the copilots seat.
camp news: The ATV has a new battery. It starts and runs great. I fixed the draw bar on the trailer by making it straight and bolting a 2x4 in the channel. The spring on the pull starter is broken but I can get a new on on the web. My snowmobile would not start until I changed the gas and plugs. The lawn is planted with grass seed on topsoil. It was just beginning to sprout. I am waiting for pictures of Paul's trip and my camera.

There's a picture. It's my tent at work, you can see the lake in the background. There is a button on the create post screen that allows you to add pictures. Ask Mother at quiltfabric@gmail.com what the username and password that allows you to add a post or comment.
If you click on the link for the calendar to the right you can view and edit the calendar. You should see the two entries I put in. You don't need to login to edit the calendar
