After a Brush Family Thanksgiving Dinner that couldn't be beat, Rachel and I went to Mendocino for a night and then down to visit Cory (Rachel's little brother) in Marin County. He recently got a job as manager of a goat dairy, where he now lives in a trailer, along with a border collie, 200 +/- does, 6 bucks, and another employee (not all in the trailer).
The kids just run amok because they can fit through small openings:
Milking time:
Rachel's friend, Liz, dropped in with Keeley and Oliver (Oliver is 12 weeks and didn't really wake up the whole time he was on the farm).
The dairy is a start up (it has been going for a couple years under the current owners) in a defunct cattle dairy. That means that the infrastructure is all really big for goats.
I had fun playing with the border collie.

These photos are for Jon. Oliver never stopped asking to go to this show because Jon had told him it was cool before we went. Everyday he asked about going to the car chase show. It lived up to his expectations. Cameron also liked it a lot. It was thier favorite part of Hollywood studios. The backlot tour was pretty good to though. Oliver want to know how you make fire come out of the water.

Cyndy wanted to go to the new W hotel in Boston so we did. She got a scarf and free in room drinks. With Tequila Patron of course.
We couldn't go to Thai Kitchen because the chef/owner had a dental emergency on Saturday.
First Honda, then BMW, Toyota, and Bridgestone. Now Grand Prix Cafe has pulled out of F1.
Cusine from Afganistan moved a little further southeast to the Himalayas (I didn't look to see if they took down the picture of national geographic girl, which the one in Peter Harris Plaza does have). I checked a map the Himalayas don't extend into Afganistan though maybe the cusine does carry through the mountainous regions of India, China, Pakistan and Afganistan. But the name of the mount ranges do change.
We went to Tacos Lupita instead for some tortas instead of Thai Kitchen.
We had Chinese food for dinner in China Town. It was good but Cyndy was sad because they didn't serve Hon Sue Beef anymore. The women said the kitchen was just to small for them to keep serving it and suggested something else which was good. The had 22 people in the dining room which was a little crazy. The kitchen and dining room combined is smaller than our dining and living rooms.
Good Enough continue on to see Disney World.

Did an autocross event at Albany-Saratoga today. Dad visited and so did Kate and the kids. The set up a course on the now paved oval. Mostly to slow people down on the front straight. I was able to run 3rd gear wide open down the back straight. Had fun but it was cold. Wide variety of cars. Fastest of the day was the red Miata(turbo) #56. Car is a street car that was driven to the event on the tires it raced. very impressive. Other notable or unusual cars were. Green Studebaker, red Ford GT, Maserati Bi-Turbo, blue Triumph Spitfire(toyota 1.8L), white MG Midget(buick v6).
