Apparently knitting is big bucks (or more likely Maine Tourism officials have lost their minds). There is a whole tourism campaign on luring knitters to visit.

Also be sure to check out the exciting Fiat 'test' video on the Nuvero site. …definitely fast going down the mountain.

We don't work on the Andromeda project in Cambridge, that's the Milan branch. They build fuel cells, and we build hydrogen reformers. I work on the Star project which is an onboard hydrogen reformer that powers a fuel cell whose specification is determined by Renault. The reformer and fuelcell together are supposed to be able to fit under the rear seat of a car. The reformer can run any hydrocarbon fuel you want, gasoline, eurogas, ethanol, propane, diesel, biodiesel, methanol, goat head, or whatever else you can think of. The system is roughly capable of a pump to wheels fuel mileage of 78mpg currently. But it doesn't work in cold climates yet because it has lots of water in it, and it takes 3 minutes or so to start.

This must be what Paul meant when he told me his new job was doing "stuff"

You have to catch up with fiat. A cold weather test is significant. To be useful it needs to run in cold weather (unless you are counting on global warming).
